Ages TK-6 Mindful Movement - Our youngest students will enjoy games, music, and singing to help them fully engage and participate in our movement practice. Classes will focus on strengthening gross motor skills, exploring their feelings through art, and learning to listen to their body.
Ages 7-9 Mindful Movement - Students at this age will begin to work on developing balance, as well as recognizing and naming their emotions. Students help build each lesson plan, giving them a sense of confidence, and supporting their decision making abilities.
Ages 10-13 Mindful Movement - Students will begin to practice more challenging physical postures, and start working on building trust with themselves as well as others. We’ll start to go deeper into understanding how to recognize our emotions and how to help regulate them with our breathing.
Ages 14-18 Mindful Movement - Our oldest students will have the most challenging physical postures that really help refine their fine motor skills and concentration. Students will strengthen their executive function skills, spatial awareness and problem solving abilities.
