Run Start Along The Levee
Avie's Place Color Run is a fundraiser event for Avie's Place Park and Playground that will take place in Downtown Oroville at the Oroville Salmon Festival on September 28, 2024.
You will run a 3K course and get covered in colored powder as you go. Every runner will receive an Avie's Place T-shirt and a pair of sunglasses and help build Avie's Place!

Salmon Kayak Tours
Starts at the Feather River Fish Hatchery, 5 Table Mountain Blvd, and ends at Riverbend Park, 50 Montgomery St.
The Forebay Aquatic Center will be hosting their annual educational kayak floats down the Feather River starting at the Fish Hatchery and ending at Riverbend Park.

The Feather River Fish Hatchery will be open for this year's festival! Learn everything there is to know about salmon by taking a free tour of the hatchery. Watch the salmon jump over the fish ladder and get up close with them at the viewing window. There will also be a mobile fish exhibit, nature related booths, live animals, and food available.

Pair your meal a delicious drink from Feather Falls Brewing Company or margaritas served by the Native Sons of the Golden West.
